A family-run Murray River park for 35 years
Some holiday destinations are discovered once. Murraybank is the kind of place families keep coming back to.
For 35 years, Murraybank Caravan Park has been proudly family run, welcoming generations of guests to our peaceful stretch of the Murray River near Mathoura.
Over the years, we’ve watched children grow up, return with partners and families of their own, and introduce another generation to the Murraybank experience. Today, we’re incredibly proud to welcome fourth-generation guests: families whose connection with the park stretches back decades.
A place families return to
There’s something special about returning to the same riverbank, the same shady campsites and the same familiar surroundings year after year.
For many of our guests, Murraybank has become part of their family’s traditions: Easter camping trips, summer holidays, fishing weekends and quiet escapes spent together around the campfire.
While the park has changed and improved over the years, the things people love most about Murraybank haven’t changed: the Murray River, the relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space and the warm welcome.
Life by the Murray
Located near Mathoura and beside the magnificent Barmah-Millewa Forest, Murraybank is surrounded by river red gums and the natural beauty of the Murray.
Guests can choose from riverbank powered sites, spacious powered and unpowered camping areas and five self-contained cabins.
Days here can be as busy or as relaxed as you like: swimming, fishing, boating, cycling and exploring, or simply sitting outside your caravan enjoying good company.
