Murray Bank Caravan Park
Murraybank Caravan Park is situated in the Barmah-Millewa Forest, a 70,000 hectare forest which contains the largest single stand of River Redgum in the world. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas, including fishing, forest walks, forest drives or visit the recently constructed Gulpa Creek Reed Beds Bird Observatory.
At Easter, there is the Annual Easter Fair held in the Soldiers War Memorial Gardens on Easter Saturday morning. On Easter Sunday is the annual Duck Race at Picnic Point. There is also an annual Mathoura Fishing Classic at nearby Tarragon Lodge. This is usually held in the first weekend of March. The Mathoura Caddell Country Fair is held annually on the Saturday of the Melbourne Cup Weekend on the Visitor Centre lawns.
There is also a range of Regional Events held – click here to see what’s on.
